Weeks living in Chiang Mai
March 12, 2013
Three weeks now I have been surrounded with the peace and calm living here in Chiang Mai. I am actually starting to get to a point of bore, maybe because I am not here to spend money and go bar hoping buying usless take home trinkets. Also not a fan of massages, just strangely makes me feel more bored and restless than anything. Besides, the idea of an attractive gal giving me a message is great , however I am not buying one when I already have an exclusive designated gal for that.
Not that there is anything wrong with that per se, just not my desire. I have already covered those and more sinful ways to living in my past days. Generally I just walk or bicycle around the streets and food shop. The sightseeing will be done soon when I rent a scooter for the excurion into the hills with a hammock and basic living needs. There I will hike and climb my way around , hopefully discover a less traveled and more unique personal finding. Waterfalls, scenic views, free roaming wildlife, and caves are on my mind.
I've been looking work and getting leads, however, it being March now, things have slowed down and school is at a break soon. Other options include travel to another Asian country, maybe China or Vietnam. However, the people I have met and information gathered all suggest that this place (Thailand) is my closest fit in personality and lifestyle. I might need to break away for just a few months and work temporary and return rather than just dwindle the little funds there are. Also, my first visa run is coming up and then it only last 14days, 30days on entry by air, but only 14 with land crossing. There are a couple other options, but financially they are all about the same and some travel will feel nice about now.
